New Patients

What to Expect

Before your first appointment, and throughout your care, we want you to know what to expect so you can feel prepared and confident in your treatment.

Before Your First Appointment

Please bring your physical therapy prescription from your physician and your current insurance card. If you are being treated for a work injury or motor vehicle accident, bring any claim information. Self-pay patients may begin treatment without a prescription.

We ask when possible to finish your paperwork before hand so not to interfere with your treatment time.

What Will Happen

Your first visit includes a thorough evaluation where your therapist will:

  • Ask about your health, goals, and symptoms
  • Conduct movement, strength, and functional tests
  • Develop a personalized plan of care to optimize your recovery
  • Spend time educating you about your current condition

What to Wear

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is best. If treating the shoulder, consider sleeveless tops; for lower extremity care, shorts or loose pants are recommended.

Insurance & Billing

We accept most major insurances. Please bring your insurance cards and a photo ID. Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card.
